The Firm

A private office built around your ambitions.

Since 1998, Navy Capital has served a deliberately small clientele. We are not a bank, and we are not a brokerage. We are an independent advisory practice — accountable to no product, no commission, and no interest but yours.

Every relationship is led by a principal of the firm. We limit the number of families we serve so that each receives the depth of attention their affairs deserve.

I.
Independence

Wholly principal-owned. No parent company, no sales targets, no house products.

II.
Alignment

A single transparent advisory fee. We prosper only when you do.

III.
Continuity

Multi-generational planning, with successor advisers introduced early and deliberately.

The Navy Capital Principle
In Their Words

Relationships measured in decades

They brought order to a complicated estate and made every decision feel considered. Twelve years on, I wouldn't trust anyone else.

When I sold my company, Navy Capital structured the proceeds with extraordinary care. Discreet, precise, and genuinely on my side.

What I value most is the calm. In turbulent markets they call before I do — steady counsel, never a sales pitch.

Common Questions

Considered answers, in advance

Who does Navy Capital serve? +
We serve a limited number of individuals, families, and their related trusts and foundations. Most clients come to us at a moment of consequence — a business sale, an inheritance, retirement, or simply the realisation that their affairs have outgrown their current arrangements.
Is there a minimum relationship size? +
Our practice is generally best suited to families with investable assets of $2 million or more. That said, we consider each introduction on its merits — the fit of the relationship matters more to us than its initial size.
How are you compensated? +
By a single, transparent advisory fee based on assets under advisement — disclosed in writing before any engagement. We accept no commissions, referral payments, or product incentives of any kind.
Where are client assets held? +
Client assets are held in your name at independent, third-party custodians. Navy Capital never takes custody of client funds; we direct investments under a limited authority you grant and can revoke at any time.
What is the Research Desk subscription? +
Research Desk is our paid research service — weekly notes, model portfolios, and the full quarterly outlook, delivered by email and through the members-only Research Library on this site. It costs $49 per month or $490 per year and can be cancelled at any time. Advisory clients receive full access as part of their mandate.
What does the first conversation involve? +
An hour, in confidence, with a principal of the firm — by phone, video, or in person. We listen far more than we speak. There is no obligation, no preparation required, and nothing to sign.
